Tim Shedor CO-OWNER AND FOUNDER
Tim likes to believe that he started writing as soon as he was born. He wrote a very thin 90-page screenplay in fourth grade and never returned to the theater or general drama ever again. Since then, he’s been the editor of his 8th grade school paper, and the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the nationally-recognized high school student newspaper, the Harbinger. He also began working with websites that year when he led the team that revitalized smeharbinger.net to include live broadcasts, podcasts, interactive media, and digital copies of old issues. In national competition, the paper won 1st place Best in Show, and smeharbinger.net was awarded 2nd place Best in Show. Tim was also awarded 2010 Runner-up National Journalist of the Year and Kansas High School Journalist of the Year. He graduated in 2010 and is currently enrolled at the University of Kansas as a Communications major. He also enjoys playing the bass (visit his band on iTunes and Facebook), reading, eating Chicago pizza, walking with his black lab, and setting up Intramural sand volleyball teams with his dorm floor. Contact him via email, Facebook, or LinkedIn.
Phoebe Unterman DESIGN
Born in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1992, Phoebe has lived most of her life just across the state line in Kansas. She always loved to read stories and draw, and when she heard her grandmother’s story for the first time, she thought of it as one of hope. As just a senior in high school, Phoebe become an accomplished, published author with her book “Through Eva’s Eyes.” Also during her senior year, she was the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the print-Harbinger with Tim, where they developed a relationship that defined the popular and often inaccurate phrase “love-hate.” His unsavvy design eye and her lack of patience often created a copious amount of frustration between the pair, although it was quickly laughed off. They remain best friends and business partners today. She has earned numerous writing, editing and design awards for her work, including a nomination by NSPA for the Design of the Year, and she is currently attending the Annenberg School of Journalism at the University of Southern California. Contact her via email or Facebook.
